I've got a 2011 Fusion sport that blows hot/warm air all the time. I've also noticed the external air temp on the dash reads between -40 and -20 all the time. I tried replacing the ambiant air temp sensor in the front bumper. No change. I then used a cheapo bluetooth elm tool to clear the codes torque could read. no change. I then pulled the battery for 10 minutes, that messed up the clock but the temp still reads wrong.
This car was in a front end crash a while back, and its dual zone auto climate. Looking for suggestions on what to check next.
also is there a way to force the ext temp to read like 55 all the time regardless of the real outside temp?
