  1. Hi All, I've got a 2011 fusion with the 3.0 and automatic climate control. The dash displays an outside temp of -40 so it won't engage the compressor. Its been in a front end collision and I replaced the sensor but I'm not seeing any change. I heard I might need to recalibrate the sensor by hold AC and MAX AC down for 2 seconds while the car is in drive. Is this the right reset steps becouse it dosnt seem to do anything. I've got the front bumper off right now so I'd like to do as much to test/fix as possible. Whats a good way to test if the harness is the problem? Is there a work around similar tot he EVAP sensor where I can trick the car into thinking is 70 degrees all the time? Any ideas on what else I can do/check?
  2. I've got a 2011 Fusion sport that blows hot/warm air all the time. I've also noticed the external air temp on the dash reads between -40 and -20 all the time. I tried replacing the ambiant air temp sensor in the front bumper. No change. I then used a cheapo bluetooth elm tool to clear the codes torque could read. no change. I then pulled the battery for 10 minutes, that messed up the clock but the temp still reads wrong. This car was in a front end crash a while back, and its dual zone auto climate. Looking for suggestions on what to check next. also is there a way to force the ext temp to read like 55 all the time regardless of the real outside temp?
