  1. You just have to change everything except the block, crank, pistons and rods, nothing else is stock on a 2.5 :)
  2. I have the 2.5L from a 2010 fusion in my focus that I race at the track, and the transmission is an mtx75 it currently has about 220hp, but I have a turbo kit just sitting there. I know with the 2.0 duratecs 250Hp is about the max so if the 2.5 is the same then there is no point installing the turbo kit. I read somewhere on the mazda forum that it was closer to 400 but I don't know if the internals are the same on the MZR's I think I would be happy with 300-350 besides I think I max out the fuel system around there.
  3. Does anyone know how much power can safely be made on the stock internals of the 2.5L? before I have to go to forged rods and pistons? Thanks..
