Apparently the turbo shaft is confirmed leaking, im looking into replacing it asap. I saw the tasca turbo and it is significantly cheaper, but on a quest to save as much money as possible I was thinking about purchasing a turbo off eBay from a salvage fusion. If anyone has a write up/video/ manual about this job or anywhere to point me in the right direction, again much appreciated.

Hello, very new here. Wife’s 15 Fusion popped a CEL and the code was p0299 (underboost). Shop said they traced it to map sensor (?) and said it was inoperative due to oil build up on it and recommended replacing it. Anyway they replaced it and code is still present and more oil is leaking from turbo. Has anyone else had an issue like this and know what might be going on? They’re recommending replacing the whole turbo assembly which is going to end up being a $2500 job. Any insight is much appreciated!
