  1. The specific cylinder compression numbers were: #1 157PSI #2 156PSI (worst for deposits)lowest #3 162PSI highest #4 160PSI
  2. The compression averages were all within 5psi of one another, yes. It mostly happens @ higher RPMs or after a downshift when crank pressures are high. And yes, cylinders 2 and 3 have heavy oil deposits on the plugs and pistons. As far as regular oil changes go i have no odometer or speedo @ the moment due to a faulty VSS, bit it is changed every 2-3months (approx3-4k). The smoke is very white with a blue tint and reaks of burning oil. The exhaust system itself is a gutted manifold cat straight pipped to a fart can so at first the black of the fuel clouded the blue. It also doesnt seem to smoke much at all if any at idle or startup. It will stall after a down shift coming to a stop and puff a rediculous cloud when restarted. I theory oil fills the cylinder causing the stall.
  3. Hello. I have a 2007 Fusion 2.3L manual 5spd that i have recently replaced the engine. The engine is an "early build(cartridge style oil filter, non-California)". I was told it was out of a 2009 Milan with only approx 105k miles. I have had no issues except for an occasional stall when coming to a stop, but recently discovered it to be an oil burner. It uses about 1qt every couple of days and i only drive about 20mi/day. I did a Compression test that revealed the lowest cylinder to have 157psi of compression. Im considering PCV failure to be the culprit. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
