Neither latch will pop. There is a lot of resistance on the cable from inside the driver compartment. I eventually even broke the handle. Had my son press down and pull up on the hood while I tried to pull the cable. Even used vice grips to try and pull the cable. I’m thinking at this point, I may have to try to pull on the cable from underneath to get the latch to pop. Seems like a really bad design.

I have a 2013 Fusion SE that I can’t get the hood Tom open. Does anyone have any tips/tricks the get it open? Thank you!
