  1. I have a 2013 1.6 eco boost ford fusion. about a month ago my temp gauge pegged out at hot . pulled over temp gauge went down right away. checked fluid level coolant full . drove car for a week everything fine.week later temp rose again.changed thermostat . temp gauge climbing but didn't go to hot.called ford dealer to check on any recalls dealing with coolant system.they changed coolant leveling kit.picked up car temp gauge pegged out some time not all the time.but engine didn't seem to be overheating.so a video I saw on youtube said to check my coolant temperature sensor for moister where the electrical connection plugs in to the sensor.it was wet so changed it .temp gauge pegged out till it put car in limp mode. had car towed home had a friend to come by my house cleard code drove car while scanner was connected to car.temp was fine took car for 2nd test drive temp pegged out pulled over scanner temp 200 to 210 drove car home fans are running at top speed. next couple of days started car let it run in park for an hour temp was less than half way no overheating turn AC ON CAR RAN FOR 45min no overheating .checked shutters in front of radiator looks to be working fine.need help with this .thanks in advanced .
  2. car temperature gauge pegged out changed temperature sensor temp gauge stays normal when car is sitting still no matter how long you let it run but once you start driving temp gauge goes up and almost to overheat .scanner was hooked to car during this prosses scanner did not see over heating, temp on scanner stayed around 200 even when driving
