  1. Hey Rebel, Just to add to the conversation and to piggy back on what eGuru stated your issue is with the interrogation of the key code to start the vehicle. So either the PATS interface module is not programmed correctly or you need a new PATS interface module. As eGuru stated earlier, start by programming the second key and then once you have both keys programmed, programming the PATS is a breeze. As eGuru stated, disconnect the 4 pin connector to rule out any possibilities of interference and test again with the key next to the ignition without inserting it into the ignition. Also, the remote start module has some fuses under a cover which, surprisingly, contains some software, I ran into an issue where this cover was not seated properly and got an unusual no start issue when remote starting. The cover has the fancy writing on it that says ford remote start which you've already seen. Don't remove the cover just yet, just push on it to make sure its seated properly. If you end up finding out it needs a new PATS interface module I got this one off of amazon and it worked great! -Rich
  2. Alright, I found my problem, the cartridge on the RMST was not seated properly. I removed this cartridge in the past to check the fuses to rule everything out in there. During install of all the panels I must've bumped it and caused the cartridge to back out of its position. -Rich
  3. I checked RMST and this seems to be configured properly. Am I able to test the violet wire from the fuse in the RMST? or should I test the violet wire from the connector that connects to the RMST?
  4. I will check this when I get back out there to look at the programming options on the RMST. -Rich
  5. Thank you, that's one less thing to worry about. I'm going to go through some further testing today, and go through bank 1 and 2 of the RMST maybe something isn't programmed correctly preventing the vehicle from starting normally. -Rich
  6. Update number 2: Back at original problem. unplugged the entire PATS system to clear it of any bugs. Brake pedal works as it should during programming. However, the issue still remains, Vehicle honks and then honks once more without starting. Again, PATS light is not flashing. Vehicle has a quarter tank of fuel, is low fuel reason for it not to start? -Rich
  7. Hello, Recently diagnosed an issue with my significant other 2010 Ford Fusion remote start (Series 100 Ford 1-way remote start) short story even shorter the bypass module was no good. So I replaced the bypass module and tested the module 3 times before putting the dash back together. Worked like a charm each test so I secured the module where the previous module was and put everything back together. I decided to test it once more after everything was together as any good tech would do. The vehicle honked the horn once to let me know the start process has begun then honked once more to let me know the vehicle has started, however, the vehicle was not on. Further diagnosis shows that the bypass module works (theft light is not blinking) and even with the key next to the ignition when commencing the remote start procedure to capture the key code the vehicle will not start. I've searched google for documentation but haven't seen anything that would suggest that preventing the vehicle from starting without any indication (which would be criminal) is a feature of this remote start. Any clues or ideas? -Rich quick update: vehicle now beeps twice to let me know the brake is being pressed or the hood is open, I checked the hood and hood pin and did not see anything unusual. I noticed one unusual symptom and that is when I'm in the programming mode for the remote start system it is difficult to cycle through the options using the brake, as if the system does not register the brake pedal depressed at all. I'm going to check and see if there is an issue with the brake pedal switch. If anyone has any ideas please feel free to drop a comment. Thanks.
  8. Hey Joe, Any modifications to the car itself or anything new happen prior to this? -Rich
