  1. It just recently started. The shiny rubber cover is still on it currently, all I added to it is some grip tape. It'll be fine one minute, then when i go to brake, its as if my foot slips off the pedal completely. Then i have to slam on the brakes. I'm wearing the same shoes i've been wearing, i just think perhaps i need to scuff up the rubber cover somehow, for more grip. Ill go to Ford this week and have them check it out. I've only had the car 5 weeks. Thanks all.
  2. I have a 2019 Fusion SE Hybrid, I absolutely love the car. However, lately the brake pedal has been touchy for me, is this like this on all Fusions? What i mean is, sometimes my foot will slip off the pedal and I worry I'm going to smash into something. The pedal(& rubber cover) itself is small & shiny. I went to Home Depot & purchased some grip tape to put on the existing cover, but it seems to keep coming off. Do you recommend i buy a non slip pedal cover, is Ford even aware of this issue? Next, I'm a blockhead when it comes to doing anything on a car(installation), except putting gas in it. If i were to purchase a replacement cover, should i try to do it myself or have someone at a shop or Ford do it? Approximate cost? I went to Auto Zone and purchased one, but the guys there wanted nothing to do with installing it. Thanks for any advice/comments.
