  1. I have a 2011 Fusion SEL v6 and am interested in a performance tuner. Who do you all recommend? SCT, Steeda or someone else?
  2. It's inside the car on the driver's side doorjamb. Only the drivers side too. My concern is the door freezing shut in below-freezing temperatures which were going to have this weekend so I'm going to do some troubleshooting to try to figure out where the leak is coming from and also lubricate my weather stripping.
  3. My 2011 Fusion SEL needs the Takata airbag recall work done. My question is that when I called Ford they stated that it is for the passenger airbag and that it could take a few days because they need to remove the dash. Has anyone ever had issues with Sync or anything else for that matter after having their dash removed and replaced? Is it worth it to do this recall if they need to remove the dash? I'm concerned that since the Sync system is so intuitive that it will never be the same after having the recall work done.
  4. Thank you I will try that with water. after I sent the message I remembered the sunroof and I know water can go from one place to somewhere you would never expect. So yes it does have a sunroof. For a 2011 car with just over 61k miles on it all I've done is regular maintenance . The ironic thing is my parents had a 1978 Ford LTD station wagon (complete with wood decals) which I unfortunately had to drive to high school. It was still better than the school bus and every time it would rain water would collect in the back floorboard and they never could figure out where it came from. I thought it was kind of ironic that my car started doing the same thing. Mine didn't start doing this until I paid it off of course. My husband keeps hinting about me getting another car I said not till this one blows up.
  5. Good afternoon everyone, I have a 2011 Ford Fusion SEL that when it rains really hard the door jamb will be wet. If it is being driven and raining really, really hard the floorboard right next to the door will be damp. It isn't leaking from the roof or window and dripping so could it be the weather stripping on the bottom or side of the door? Or where the wipers are? I looked underneath it with a 10x magnification mirror and didn't see any holes or cracks. Yes I am a woman and it was my makeup mirror. I am fairly knowledgeable about cars but wanted to know where to look or where to start looking to determine where the weather stripping needs replaced or maybe just cleaned off. Any thoughts?
