I have a 2014 Ford Fusion with the 1.5 ecoboost motor. I’m having a little trouble with it though. Check engine light came on and the code is a P0301 (misfire in cylinder 1). But the car drives just fine, it only sounds weird when I start it when the engine is cold. On a cold start it sputters a little bit and idles weird, but then calms down and idles regularly after about 30-60 seconds. I originally thought this was a spark plug issue or an ignition coil problem, but I am not sure now. Any thoughts?

Hello, I have a 2014 Ford Fusion that is having an overheating problem. Hopefully someone can help me. I was driving home the other day when the “engine overheated” light came on and it notified me. It immediately went into limp mode and wouldn’t let me move it. I had it towed to my house. The next day I went to start it and see if anything had changed. I started it and the engine overheated light came on again, and it was still in limp mode. The engine was completely cold since I let it sit all night. So I am thinking this is maybe a coolant temperature sensor problem? Or maybe a thermostat problem? I just got this car so I don’t know much about it, hoping someone can help me out. Thanks!
