Sorry to report that installing the harness kit (and I may have got one of the last ones in the US) did not resolve the problem. Ended up abandoning the car...☹️

I need a "Hybrid Overlay Harness" for my 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid. Part number is CE5Z-14A411-A . Ford no longer stocks this. Anyone have a suggestion as to where I may locate one? Thanks in advance!

I was able to use ForScan to reset the Power Steering fault. I had the exact same problem. DO NOT BUY A NEW STEERING MODULE, it won't solve the problem. Search the forum and you'll find the information you need. Good luck!

@Drewbabich Did you ever find out "how" to clear the Power Sreering codes with Forscan? I need to do just that (I already have it configured and connectable)

Thank you @asicking and @xns916! I reset the MPG tracker, took it ariund the block, and it "jumped" to 34!

How are you "tracking" the MPG? I applied the fix, am seeing 2-3 bars of power, but am on 27.2 MPG. Am I looking in the right place?

I completely concur. Apple pulled a similar stunt a few years ago with the "dying" battery on the iPhone 6. And, for the record, the ad hominem attack ("now you're bitching...") is completely uncalled for and out of line. I reported it, but the "report" probably goes to the poster...

@allen84 - many thanks for sharing this procedure. It ran flawlessly on my 2010 FF. I don't think it's "back" to where it was yet (I've only driven it 2-3 miles) and I am wondering if it takes time for it to be fully restored.
