I did get x-plan. so its not a bad deal. I got it thru my union so no worries on hurting anyones feelings. They will be happy I am buying another ford anyway.

Actually I am taking it. They say they are happy to get it because they can't even get one from the factory. Seems like some people are getting deals. I paid x-plan so I am hardly losing much. As far as the business goes, its a studio rental business for transportation. Michigan is giving the biggest tax breaks of any state and the productions are lining up to come here and film. When they use a michigan based company then they get even more tax credit. So it should work out good. We already have reservations for equipment.

MSRP for my car is $34200. Anyway I am not going to argue. All I am doing is putting it out there. If someone who does not want to order one and wait 2-3 months might make an offer. If a dealer is willing to pay me $29K that has got to say something.

I hear what you are saying but not everyone is getting the price you are getting. I have already had one dealer offer me 29.5K because they can't even get one. So If someone is interested they can always make an offer.

Hey guys I am toying with the idea of selling my FFH. I love it and its killing me to even think about it. But I just moved to Michigan and I am buying a house with land and starting a business. I now am finding a need for a big truck. I could get one and keep the FFH but then I have 2 payments and that does not make sense. I have the Tri-coat white, with black leather 502a with remote start. It has 6K on it. I bought it in LA drove to texas then to Michigan and then back. Poor car has really been moving. Its getting really good mileage. I am recording about 40-41 mpg mostly highway at 70mph plus. Anyway I was looking for 30K just to pay it off. If anyone has any interest let me know. thanks!

Hey all I got my FFH about 3 weeks ago and already have 5K on it! Lots of traveling and also moving to a new state. anyway I have noticed that when on the hwy with cruise on sometimes the car feels like a rubber band kind of surging back and forth and if I look at the display for power it will show the up arrow then down arrow back and forth. Also I have noticed that it seems to kind of shutter when the engine goes off when I drop below 47. It did not start doing this until about 4K miles. I just had the oil changed at a ford dealer at the 5K mark. I am old school so I like to do the first one early. but this issue was happening before i got the oil changed. wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I wonder if maybe it might just need a software update or something. thoughts?

It will get better as it breaks in. I have had quite a few hybrids so I have learned how to drive them. If you use your foot and get up to speed then when your on flat ground if you slowly take pressure ever so slightly off the pedal and watch the gauge you will be amazed how the mpgs will climb. The cruise just maintains speed but with your foot you can control it much better. I just drove from Texas to Detroit and I traveled between 75-80 and maintained 40.1 mpg for the whole trip. The second time I filled up the miles to empty were 641!

I gues I don't understand my car with Nav already has weather, traffic etc.. does that mean I have 3.0?

I will chime in as well. I had a 502a ordered at my local dealer in Dallas area. I found the same color/options at a dealer in los Angeles, so went out and bought it, on X-Plan! White tri coat, with charcoal int. I picked it up and after having owned 2 prius's a camry hybrid and a honda civic hybrid this car hits it out of the park!! It is the best most comfortable car i have ever owned. I drove back from Los Angeles and made it into Dallas last night. If i used the cruise at about 78mph I was getting 36.4mpg which is outstanding, now when I used my foot at the same speeds I got 39.5-40mpg. In the city with less than 100 miles on the car I was getting 46-49mpg. I think once she breaks in I should easily get into the 50's. As far as the stereo it is unreal! The best factory stereo I have ever heard and better than many aftermarket systems. This car might be a keeper for the long haul.

I had a White Tri/coat with Charcoal leather (502a) ordered and I found one in stock at a dealer out of state. They sold it to me for x-plan and I took delivery on Thursday nite! What a great car. I have about 300 miles on it and I am avg. 46.7 mpg!! Anyway if someone is looking for this color combo and options let me know because my local dealer will have the one that I ordered in I think in like a month. Might even be able to get it for X-plan.

Well some of you guys are doing better than me. I ordered mine on 4/20 and I checked with Ford and they can't even pull anything up. The guy told me when I gave him my dealer code, body code, and order number that it computer just shows an error. I was hoping to at least get a VIN # or at least something in the system to show that my order does exist.

thanks for that! just emailed my salesman to add remote start to my order. Might as well have it. Could come in handy and it will add a bit to resale as well! :-)

And to add to that, if i have it factory installed will my original key fob still work? meaning if I did not always want to have to carry the extra remote start fob with me would the one piece fob on key still work as normal?

Well part of your question is also my question. I ordered mine 2 weeks ago and I wanted to get remote start but I did not want an extra fob. you would think Ford would have figured out a way to integrate this into the one piece fob. IE: maybe a longer hold of one button or holding 2 of the buttons together.

yes i did. But toyota is so unclear of when it will come out. Also since i got the x-plan the price was somewhat better. The FFH seems much tighter and smoother than the prius. Don't get me wrong I love my prius and its staying in the family (giving it to the girlfriend) but I was so impressed by the FFH and I am kinda a gadget junky so all the tech stuff is cool. I think the biggest thing I will miss on the FFH would be smart key. I will have to get used to taking a key out of my pocket!

Well I have owned a 06 Prius, 08 Escape hybrid, 06 Civic Hybrid, 08 Camry hybrid and now have a Fusion hybrid on order. I guess I'm a bit of a car nut. anyway the one car that I just could not get used to was the civic hybrid. I tried to like it but i just got ruined on the toyotas and fords. I like the way they are set up much better. I'm not bashing honda by any means but i just could not get into the civic. I took out a FFH for a test drive before I ordered it and we went on about a 20 mile drive and I was getting like 50mpg in it and it only had about 40 miles on it. Not bad for a cold start and new car!

I just ordered my FFH yesterday. I sat next to the salesman while he put the oder into the system. He printed the screen with the order number on it and gave it to me. I got it at X-Plan price. He only wanted $100 as deposit. I have a priority code of 20. whatever that means. So we will see. I hope to get a VIN # from him next week and then it can be tracked.
