I am out of the warranty period unfortunately. Could you point me in the right direction with the purge valve assembly? I have read a ton of stuff on it and still am a bit confused. I know that replacing that is cheaper than the alternative is there a way to test it or anything?

I am new to the forum. Just brought home a Beautiful 2015 titanium fusion this spring unfortunately it was in a bad accident shortly after and I am struggling to got the check engine light to go away. If I fill the car over a half tank of gas it has a hard time starting and has taken as many as 5 times to start. It vents pressure loudly through the easy fill gas cap when it is warm out and the engine light is on with a P1450 code (Unable to bleed up tank vacuum) I didn't have any problems with it before the accident but I only had it for about 2 months. It was hit hard on the front passenger side and Had most of the front end replaced and had to go back because the awd differential leaked all the fluid out and had to be replaced and it had electrical issues preventing the ac from running. The insurance company did not fix the engine light issue as they said it wasnt a result of the accident. The dealership wanted over $1000 to replace the emissions system components such as the purge valve filler neck and vapor lines. To me that sounds like they just plan to replace everything and hope it solves the problem. I would really appreciate any guidance on how to approach this issue because I am very new to these cars and do not know where to start. The car already has over $12000 into it and it is still not right. Pictures are from the accident and after the repairs were made.
