It's "carrier bearing." This a known issue with AWD Fusions/Milans/MKZs of this generation. There are a few discussions here on this. Here's one. Search under carrier bearing. Yes, you'll need a new driveshaft.

P2270=02 Sensor signal stuck lean bank 1 sensor 2.

You replaced the wrong sensor. Sensor 2 is behind the CC.

I see you're new here. Welcome, but these topics have been discussed at length in these forums. Please use the search function above and you'll find plenty of material to sort through. It's counterproductive to start a new thread.
  7. drolds1's post in rain sensing wipers was marked as the answer
Looking at the windshield of a rain senor-equipped Fusion will clearly reveal where the lens for the sensor is but this video shows where the sensor is attached to the windshield from the inside. Obviously, this is the area you wouldn't want tinted.
  8. drolds1's post in Normal engine temperature gauge reading was marked as the answer
You said yourself that the T'stat was stuck open. Thus, the engine was running at below normal temperature range. That's why the needle on your coolant temperature gauge was low. What any other previous Ford you owned did is irrelevant to this one.

Some new cars, Mazda, for instance, don't even have coolant temp. gauges anymore. There's just an idiot light.
