  1. Hey guys. I just got a Fusion about a year ago. I have a 2018 Hybrid. I love the car. However, My car has the regular stereo. It’s the one thing I dislike about the car because 1) The 4 inch screen kills me & 2) I have to look at my phone for maps. I bought the car used so I didn’t have the option to upgrade the technology package. What are my options for upgrading? I was looking into buying a touchscreen stereo, but forgot I probably would need a different dash kit. I just honestly have no idea how the whole upgrading my dash works. Will I also have to buy another dash kit on top of a new stereo? Will I have to go to a Ford dealership and spend an arm and a leg for a whole upgrade? Or do I just really have no options at this point? My technology package is standard. Anything would help. Thank you all in advance.
  2. Thanks for the replies! The service side of Ford called and said to bring the car back immediately, so we did and the results are, I need a new transmission as well as a leak in my engine fixed. Luckily everything is covered by warranty, no idea how it happened or was missed during routine oil changes but in the end, at least it is covered.
  3. Hi everyone! I purchased a used 2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid in June of 2019. This car has been great to me, but now I have a problem that is concerning to me. I honestly can't begin to tell you when this problem started because I drive so little being only 5 minutes from my work. When my car is in EV and transition to the gas engine there is this loud whirling sound that comes from the engine area. If I am at a red light and my gas engine kicks in, it is very loud but as I begin to accelerate the sound gets softer. When I am running on the EV engine my car is silent you don't even know it's on. Anyways, today I was at Ford getting my automatic starter put in an oil change since it has been 5,000 miles since my last oil change, I asked them to check out the sound because it seems to be getting louder and they found a fluid leak in the transmission. They are not sure if this is the problem or if there is something further going on. So I figured I would reach out on here to see if anyone has any advice or a similar problem because I know people have been able to help my girlfriend on the Ford Escape Forum so I'm hoping to have some luck here also! Thanks!
