  1. That was no exaggeration either. It really took that long.
  2. My July build of my FFH was version 1.0 of the navigation map data. This recent update; the one being discussed here, is version 3.1x of the software. I just installed it and can confirm it.
  3. That's what I thought. However, I could NOT listen to my radio, as it was listed as being inactive. I could ONLY use the TravelLink features.
  4. Hey, I have a weird one for ya all... I did not renew my Sirius subscription in my navigation equipped FFH. My commute doesn't dictate the added expense at the moment (though it might in the future). When I attempt to listen to Sirius in the car it pops up a dialog box that states I need to activate the radio. Also, in the past if I tried to pull the weather map it would also make a similar claim. I am on vacation this week, and went to a destination that had a traffic tie-up, and sure enough, the car honked to inform me of the delay. Upon further inspection Travel Link was working in my car! Now, that's already kinda weird (since I didn't authorize nor am I paying for the service), but also I do not have Sirius radio. I though satellite radio had to be activated for Travel Link to work. Right now I'm in the best of both worlds. I have my iPod for music, and I am getting free traffic updates. Anyone else with a similar "issue"?
  5. Same thing happened to me just last week. I tried to submit a Vehicle Health Report before the error disappeared. I was also in a carwash with an underbody wash. I guess it's no big deal, since the error did not stay on.
  6. Saw a great hint a few months ago (it won't help in 90 degree temperatures, but when it is slightly warmer and you want a breeze). Vent the sunroof, and ever so slightly vent the rear passenger window. This will create an excellent breeze in the car that'll cool you off, and not suffer any MPG issues (as far as I can tell).
  7. Oil life reset is a 2second press of reset on the proper menu item.
  8. I reset mine to 50% shortly after my 5,000 mile service to have a second reminder of the 10,000 mile service. After approximately 700 miles, my oil life indicator is stating I have 37% life remaining.
  9. I'm experiencing the same problem. After the braking TSB the system reset, and now my oil life indicator is decreasing at a faster rate than before (maybe it's been modified to reflect driving conditions rather than just a mileage counter?).
  10. No, mind didn't reset with the software update, it is just seemingly functioning differently after the update. Also, my external temperature display (which seemingly never changes much because I'm usually slower than 25mph) now updates more often. Curious.
  11. Hello, According to the service manual and everything I have read, the Maintenance Indicator is just a mileage counter and nothing else. After my last service, the dealership reset the indicator to 100%, which should've been a 10,000 mile counter. Because I want to be reminded in 5k for that service, I reset the counter to 50%. After a few hundred miles, the counter was reading the appropriate percentage (after 200 miles, it was reading 48% oil life). Not too long after that, the dealership performed the regenerative braking TSB which apparently reset the car's main computer (understandable, since it is software controlled). I was driving yesterday and noticed that my car should be at about 42% oil life, based on mileage used, but the onboard computer is showing 37%. Does anyone know if the software update changed the programming of the unit to better reflect driving conditions, or is it still supposed to be a mileage counter? If it is, mine is totally off. Thanks!
  12. I like the color scheme a great deal. Last week my dealership had a black / black hybrid on the lot, and I didn't really care for it that much. The medium light stone looks good. I don't have a good camera on me at the moment, and the sky is a bit overcast but I'll see about getting you some pics soon (today hopefully).
  13. My car FINALLY arrived yesterday and I took delivery. 502a, Tuxedo Black and Medium Light Stone interior. Keep in mind, my deposit was placed on May 5. It was August 5 when it hit the dealer lot. That's 12 weeks.
  14. So I've been trying the magic trick of putting my VIN in for a window sticker. And today, it finally came up (not an error). I'm hoping that is good news. We'll see. The numbers next to Hermosillo end in 07 20 09. Was that the actual build date?
  15. Could it be possible that because I have a small town dealership that they are just low on the proverbial totem pole?
