  1. Well they told me that parts (short block) should be in next week and that it would take at least 3 days to repair. Also told me that it was the sleeves that were the design flaw and the new block is updated so that it shouldn’t be a problem again, basically what droids1 said. I hope they are correct because I have read about some that are on their 3rd engine ?. What puzzles me is that Ford has had the problem since 2016 so why did they still build 2019 Fusions with the same old problem block?
  2. My wife's 2018 Fusion 1.5L Ecoboost is getting the engine replaced at 24K miles due to coolant leaking into the cylinders. My question is, does the new replacement solve or fix the problem? If anyone has had it done, how long did Ford take to do the job? Thanks!
