  1. I see the button on previous years but there's absolutely no mention or illustrations of an auto hold button in the 2020 manual. Just like they dropped the paddle shifters on the 1.5's. I guess pulling up the parking brake and lightly pressing the brake (to keep the lights on) is an option. Thanks for all your help.
  2. It works great if you are behind a car at a red light which is the only situation refered to in the 2020 manual. I can follow a car to a stop or hit the set or resume button when braked behind a car and my car will hold. If I hit the buttons when first in line at a red light, I get an error message saying that there is not enough information to engage the system. If you can find a way to hold a 2020 SEL with Co-Pilot360 Assist when first in line, I would be greatly appreciative.
  3. Thanks for your reply. I just searched my 2020 pdf manual for "hold" and the phrase "auto hold" never appears. I do Uber and Lyft on weekends and my right foot can really hurt by the end of the day. Although the adaptive cruise control with start/stop helps a lot, auto hold would be the icing on the cake but it looks like Ford got rid of it for 2020.
  4. Sorry, yes, I have ADC with auto start/stop. I just searched my 2020 pdf manual for "hold" and the phrase "auto hold" never appears ("hold" appears 117 times). Thank you for your reply.
  5. The stop & go feature is great at red light when you're behind a car since you don't have to keep your foot on the brake pedal. However, if you are the first car at the light, you have to keep your foot on the pedal. Other than pull up the electric emergency brake (which doesn't engage the brake lights) is there any way to keep the brakes on without pressing the brake pedal when you're first in line at a red light? Thanks.
  6. Thanks bbf2530 for the advice. I have the pdf version of the manual on my phone and have read almost all of it (some of it more than once). It states: "Note: You can switch autounlock and autolock on or off independently of each other. Autolock is not configurable in all markets. If the autolock settings are not available in your information display, then the system is not configurable. See General Information (page 94)." I can definitely confirm that the last part is true. Seems for 2020 and in some markets autolock cannot be shut off. It's a small annoyance for such a nice car, especially if you do Uber and Lyft part time on weekends. I have to always remember to unlock the door so they can get in and then they fumble with the handle on trying to get out if I don't tell them or unlock it first.
  7. New member checking in from Massachusetts. Had a new 2010 red SE until April of 2016 and then switched to a new Kia Optima LX then and although I never regretted it, I wished I had stayed with a Fusion. Just bought a 2020 SEL with everything but a block heater a couple of weeks ago and all is right with the world again. I couldn't be happier with it and I look forward to joining this forum. (Only negative is the dang autolock rear doors. Googled and tried all kinds of work arounds but nothing shuts it off.)
