Hi, I am having the same problem you had with the resistor pigtail melting and resistor fuses blown, my car will not blow air unless the wires are moved in a certain position. I called a Ford repair center to see how much it would cost to have the resistor and pigtail replaced and they quoted $800. I was wondering how much you paid to have yours replaced or if you did it yourself and how?
