Howdy Yall. So I neglected to use the dipstrick to check the oil level before a change. I used vacume oil extractor to suck all the oil out through the dipstick. It hit bottom. I only got 3.5 quarts. Then I removed filter and got maybe a cup. I refilled 5 quarts. NOW I can't seem to get a good dipstick reading. It gets oil a couple inches above the full mark,BUT the full "hole" doesn't get oil on it. In other words I can't read the stick right or I overfill. Can anyone A. Confirm that if the low hole shows oil and the overfull he doesn't show oil that it's ok and the diostick just sucks, and draining with extractor and removing oil filter WILL in fact get all the oil out? or B. Oil extractor will not remove all the oil.and my dipstick.has oil way above the line because it's 1.5 quarts overfill and the overfill hole.in the extractor is ineffective. 2011 Fusion Hybrid.
