For people interested in considering a performance chip, this group did some very serious reviews of possible options: Car Performance Chip Reviews | In-Depth Performance Chip Analysis
After a lot of research I went with the GTE Stage 2 chip, and man does does that thing present impressive launches from any speed. My 2013 SE with a 2.0 turbo and front-wheel drive will burn the tires off if I punch the pedal from a standstill, and that's with new Goodyear Eagles. It was actually chirping tires if I punched it at 30 mph, which is a pure muscle car flex. Unbelievable. The review site explains very thorough research methods, with a lot of graphs and results. You can really see the difference between show and go; there are a few chips to avoid. When I posed a question to the GTE people, they got right back to me. This particular chip will not affect your emission test, etc., but will definately improve throttle response and acceleration. After a month of use, so far so good. I'll post in a another few months.
