So my 2016 Fusion did something really weird tonight. When I first started it, it idled rough for a few seconds and then smoothed out. I drove it to the gas station(about a mile), and on the way there, the check engine light came on. When I came back out and got back into the car the light came back on. On the way home, I noticed that it was running smoother than it did even when it was new, and according to the computer it is getting significantly better fuel economy too. It doesn't appear that the power has been effected. Any ideas? Should I be worried? It is the 2.0 Ecoboost AWD.

My 2016 did the same thing. It was the ground wire for one of the sensor relays.
