you can remove the clear plastic lens and paint the chrome whatever color you like. Remove the tail light from the car, pull the retaining staples and place in the oven at I think 250 degrees F for a few minutes and this will soften the glue holding the lens on. Carefully pry the lens from the housing and do your paint. Use a good sealant from the parts store to reseal the lens and reinstall the staples.

the 2011 will bolt right in. But none of the accessories will bolt on from the 2008 because they changed the front engine cover in 2010. I found this out the hard way. I got the engine from a 2011 and it bolted right up to the transmission and the engine mounts bolted in but then I couldn't get the pullies to bolt in and after awhile noticed that the front covers are completely different. Not sure if the wiring harness is the same either. Hope that helps
