859,428 miles 2014 Fusion SE Original Engine and Transmission. The only things I have replaced are brakes rotors air filters oil and filter when the car tells me to change it trans fluid every 50,000 miles synthetic and tires. I have a lifetime alignment from Firestone which was 179.99 plus tax. which has paid for itself 10 times over. My State requires a inspection every year and its always passed .I make sure I take to a place that will tell me if somethings wrong so I can fix it my self . -

Try using forscan at www.forscan,org It has good diagnostics to read dtc's that the regular scanners cant pick up you can also test different modules . You will also need a elm 327 obd11 connector with medium speed and high speed switch you can buy at Amazon to use on a laptop the usb ones work the best in my option. I use it on my 2014 and friends coworkers fords Lincoln and mercury automobiles and they love it.. forscan also has a forum .. You can turn off seat belt reminders day time running lamps on certain vehicles Depends on the vehicle u can turn certain things on and off .. Make sure you do your research before attempting to change anything .. -
These fusion are specific about what cranking amp to use If u buy a new battery you have to due a battery reset to let the car know there is a new battery. The car cant determined between a old and new battery. You can do this with forscan and in forscan u can choose what cranking amp your battery is thats in the car . Advance Auto Parts,Autozone or Oreillys use to be able to check your starter and alternator while still on your car I dont know if they still can or not it worth calling and asking .
