  1. Actually, I was wrong in my previous response, that was about something else. The problem is still there, doesn't seem to affect anything. The lights go off after the car is locked.

  3. I have just got a similar problem on my 2010 Sport, came out of nothing. But what stays on in my case is the white stripes on the instrument panel (see the attached picture). Keys are out, doors are locked, but the lights stay on. The issue is intermittent -- about every other time the lights go off as normal. I haven't tried to fix it, but the first thing I'll look at will be the fuse. Anybody has other ideas? Thanks!
  4. By the way, that fuse (#22) seems to be responsible for the following functions (at least): 1) license plate lights, 2) tail lights, 3) front orange park lights (part of the headlamp), 4) small orange lights on sides of the front bumper.
  5. Thank you all! That was a blown fuse (15A) and I believe the non-OEM bulb was the cause. Pictures of the old and the LED bulb are below. As you see, the non-OEM LED bulb (although claimed compatible by the seller) is longer and thicker than the original bulb. The length is not a big problem, the LED bulb can still fit fine in the bracket, but the thicker metal body could have shorted the metal plates in the socket. I don't want to have another fuse blown today, so I didn't try again. Next week I will wrap the LED bulb in electric tape and see if it helps. Or might just return the new bulbs to the seller.
  6. I have a Ford Fusion 2010, my model doesn't have the Autolamp control function. So here is the story: one of the license plate bulbs went off, so I decided to replace them both with new LED bulbs. After installing just one new LED, I decided to test it, turned the lights control on only to discover that now both tail lights (and license plate lights too) do not work. Headlamps are okay as well as the rear turn signal, brake lights and rear gear light are -- all work fine. This doesn't look like the bulb issue, since both tail lights and the license plate don't work (would be a big coincidence!). However, they definitely worked about a week ago just before I removed the broken license plate bulb. Could it be that something could have gone bad in circuitry when I installed a non-OEM license plate bulb? Did anybody have a problem like this or have a suggestion what to try before bring the car to a shop? Thank you!
  7. Hi everybody! I am the first-time Ford owner and got my black 2010 Fusion Sport last Friday. It's in Tuxedo Black Metallic with black interior, moon roof and Sony audio. I was choosing between Silver and Black (and the dealership had both), but the black one looked much, much better. Love the car, but already have a few things I could ask the members of this forum. Will be glad to answer any questions too. Cheers!
  8. Got my Fusion Sport 401A (Sony audio + moonroof) yesterday (this is my first Ford too). The color is Tuxedo Black Metallic, so the metallic looks really great on the sun (better than plain black finishes). I hope I will be able to provide more info as I drive it more, but meanwhile I really like it. Let me know if somebody has any questions.
