  1. You have a CAN bus issue , the CAN Bus is what the different computers use to communicate with each other https://www.obd-codes.com/u0104 This need to be professionally diagnosed By either the dealer of a shop that specializes in Electrical wiring system repairs as this is most likely a wiring issue
  2. I have seen a lot of issues with fords transmissions . And I just had one in my shop a 2014 focus with transmission shudder that I recommended to the dealer because of all the TSB that ford had out. So seeing that I just bought a new 2020 Ford fusion S last February at My local dealer , it got Me wondering , which transmission did Ford put in Mine ? ( model number ) How can I find out ? I know my VIN . Also any suggestions as to maintenance on these transmissions ?
  3. Whats is going on with the forum, pages take forever to load , almost unusable , what is up ?
  4. I disagree , bought a 2016 Mazda 3 brand new , at 29,000 miles the touch screen went out, at 33,000 miles it was recalled for a wiper relay issue , the relay is part of the BCM, and at 39,000 miles the transmission went out , and they refused to fix it . Dumped that POS for a 2020 fusion . Japan cars are better ? ROFL !
  5. Sold My 2016 Mazda 3 that the transmission went out of at 39,000 Mi Mazda refused to fix it under the power train warrante bought a new 2020 fusion s with 6 mile on her , smart move Last Mazda I will ever own sad mazda used to make good cars
  6. also file a complaint with the better business bureau
  7. seems kinda strange that they did not replace all the spark plugs as well , or did they ? That is what I would do anytime I get a misfire code . I believe plugs are due a 100,000 mi
  8. wow all these owners with high mileage really impressive ! I just bought a new one in 2021 , one of the last remaining brand new 2020's on the lot with 6 miles on her . opted for the s model no turbo , no direct injection , and for me that is a plus just wanted basic transportation. Kinda a shame that the fusion is going the way of the Dodo
  9. here is whet I bought for my ford fusion and they fit fine https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MCPNM8G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  10. also doing wider tires will effect gas mileage , put more strain on the electric power steering , possibly effect ride height and aliment specs . You gotta be mindful of what your putting on . I work in automotive and have for decades as a tech , If your replacing wheels know that going overboard as I see with some running those outrageous oversized wheel for their cars will stress ball joints and other suspension parts causing premature failure . Also once You start going up in size form 16 inch to 17-18 inch the price of tires goes up as well Another factor is ride comfort , skinnier tire do not absorb road bumps and shock as well as taller ones do . that puts stress on shocks/struts . I laugh at people who have those rubber band tires on those huge rims , knowing it rides like a Fred flintsone car
  11. So did mine but I went with new hubcaps I got from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Pilot-Automotive-WH553-16S-BS-Universal-Spyder/dp/B00V337VNC these fit like a glove what do you think ? Much cheaper then buying wheels and tires
  12. Greetings from Indianapolis ! This will be My 1st Ford I have owned in many years , last one was a used Ford Maverick with a V-8 engine , LOL . ? I must admit that this was a panic Buy , My 2016 Mazda 3 , which I bought brand new , the automatic transmission went out , with 39,000 miles on it . Mazda refused to fix it under the power train warranty so I told Mazda to stick it where the sun don't Shine and sold it for 8 grand . That was Feb of 2021 . Saw My local Ford dealer had a brand New 2020 fusion S for $18,500 A Deal I could Not pass up . And it had what I was looking for: No CVT transmission No Direct Injection No Turbo Charger I like simplistic , less stuff to break , cheaper repair costs Time proven 2.5 Duratech engine . So far so good , but not a fan of the electronic e-brakes So 1st thing I did was get rid of those awful stock hubcaps . Amazon to the rescue . Applied Wolfgang Automotive paint sealant, bought faux leather seat covers to cover up those awful white seat cloth It is starting to grow on Me . If anyone interested in these hubcaps post back and I will link you to what i bought , they fit like a glove
