  1. Mort, yes, the painted portion is in good condition. Thank you so much for getting me the information on how to remove the part. You definitely saved me some time and money. Thanks again for your help! Nathan
  2. I came out of the store yesterday only to find that someone knocked my side view mirror off of my car, so it is just dangling by the wires. I called ford to see how much the parts were going to cost and it will run me about $140 not including the painting. My question is, to avoid having to pay for them to paint the mirror housing to match the car color, is there a way to take the painted portion of my original mirror and put it on the new one? If not, I welcome any ideas on how to deal with replacing the mirror. Thanks for your help! Nathan
  3. I agree with Slip, I just purchased a Steeda PowerPak, the salesman was very helpful and everyone I talked to tried to help me out, GREAT customer service!! Plus, the CAI, Tuner and tunes they did for me worked wonders for my car :happy feet: . I would definitely recommend checking them out. You won't regret it!! Nathan
  4. I think you might want to double think the awe addition unless you wanna throw around 8 to 10 grand+the cost of the turbo. You might as well trade on the 06 and pick up a newer awe fusion and then add the turbo. Just my thoughts.
  5. I wanted to order my steeda power pak this morning, and I got to work(luckily my boss arrives 2 hours later than me) and started looking at my car under the hood behind the battery. I was unable to remove the battery fully as my boss is on her way and was unable to find the code. Also, is there a specific place I can look for it, because all the steeda website says is that its behind the battery on the firewall. Is this accurate? Is there a way I can find the PCM code without having to remove the battery? Otherwise, I guess I will have to wait till I get home to get it ordered. Thanks in advance!! Nathan
  6. Hello all, I am going to be purchasing the steeda power pak for my 09 3.0L fusion tomorrow morning so I can get it on thursday to get my car set up for a 300 mile round trip on saturday. I wanted to see if anyone has ordered off the website and if they recommend using the website or calling in. I know they need a processor code, but when I try to check out on the website, it doesn't ask me for it. I'm thinking it is better to call them to make sure that everything gets setup right. Also, I know it comes with three tunes, do i get to pick the tunes or are those standard since I am getting both the CAI and the SCT3 together. Any input or advice would be great. Lastly, in rain, will the CAI have a problem if water gets splashed under the hood. Quick replies would be greatly appreciated as I will be ordering tomorrow. Thanks for your input, Nathan
  7. I am a first time Ford owner, with a 09 SE 3.0L. I have read over many posts and it seems that everyone is suggesting magnaflow exhaust, is there a reason people aren't recommending flowmaster. I really want to replace the factory exhaust, but I don't want it to sound like a "rice burner", I'm looking more for a deeper sounding exhaust. Also, with the addition of the exhaust, is there really any difference in power or fuel economy, better or worse? The only thing I have done so far is adding a drop in K&N air filter. Also, what does it run to have the magnaflow or any other type of exhaust put on? Thanks for the help!!!
