I'm here trying to figure out all the same problems. Mine started with a wrench light. Ended up being the fuel pump. Now there is an evap issue and a fuel filler neck leak. Extremely touchy throttle. Chirps the tires if not using pinky toe. Reminds me of riding a lawn tractor with a clutch and just wants to keep going. Coasting in drive and hit throttle and kinda slams. Supposedly motor mounts have been checked.

Ended up being the Fuel pump. But I have other issues. Extremely touchy throttle. Like wants to do a burnout if I don't use my pinky toe. Rides like a tank and is surgey and too peppy. Hard to explain. If I coast in drive and hit gas it thumps little too roughly and motor mount were all checked so idk.

Hey everyone I have a 2012 ford fusion 3.0. Having trouble diagnosing my problem. After running for about 15 minutes the wrench light illuminates. But car surges and runs crappy. Constant random prime sound from fuel pump only while running. But no problem starting car. Ran the codes says I have evap leak etc checked 02 sensors they seem fine. I'm about to replace the pickle pump but I wanna make sure it's nothing else Like maybe the canister purge solenoid underneath by the fuel tank? Could that cause this? No check engine light.

Guys I would check fuel pump. I have all same issues. And I put ear to fuel tank and it is turning on and off and intermittent surges all over the place.
