fyi...i just found out the BlueDriver Bluetooth Pro OBDII Scan Tool for iPhone & Android on amazon clears the engine codes and gets it out of "limp mode" i asked 3 mechanics and asked many online about this with no definitive answer. anyway...if anyone reads this that tool is golden because then the car can start up again. ( i tried disconnecting the battery...but never found a code reader until i met the guy who purchased my car) just passing this info forward.

(also, is there a way i can tell which engine i have (a serial number etc) my engine was replaced...so it could be a 1.5., 1.6, 2.0) if anyone knows these codes please advise P 0131 P 018c P 0217 P 0219 P 1299 u0284

yes , thank you , of course my engine was replaced so I assume its a 1.5 or 1.6 is there anyway i can see a engine stamp or number that i can definitively answer this question (its a 2014 SE)

i was always told ...go to the mechanic/gas station and have them "break the seal"...then drive home....swallow your pride....it works...ive done it myself.

this happened to me w/ my 2014 fusion...the air bag center plate was somehow "stuck" if i pressed the horn ever so slightly...i had to sorta pry it off but even then sometime it would jus go on and and on until i finally would get it unstuck...luckily i never had to use the horn very often.
