Reluctant_hybrid_owner

I was lucky enough to evacuate with my 2012 fusion hybrid without any damage from ida, can’t say the same for the house but that’s for another forum. I have kept up with all the recalls and Customer satisfaction thingys to date, and have had a rough experience overall. Today is the first time I’ve had the brake system faults and idiot lights come up. I took a 11 minute drive to the hardware store, then had a 45 minute lunch. Drove 12 back home. Got back, unloaded. Started up, put in reverse and got 10 feet when power brakes dropped off and had to pull ebrake and pump the pedal to avoid a collision. Pulled back in slowly and stopped ok now that I knew what was happening. Powered down. Restarted a minute later, no problems. Drove 50 yards, problems. Don’t have anything to add to this thread yet, suppose I just needed to vent. I’m going to figure it out and post results. Blarg!

While playing with my ford. com user account I stumbled across the “Technical Service Information” link (which seems a very strange thing to call a list of recalls).
