Another 6 months of owning my car has passed. I only 53k on the car but decided to bring it for an oil change. But that's not the only fluid that got change I also went and changed the trans fluid. What a difference!!! I went from having little bumps telling I'm in gear to smooth gear selection. Also smoothed out 2nd to 3rd and a lot of little small things.

Okay I'm asking this only because it's racking my brain. I've heard metal shards on these transmission are normal. I just made a dipstick for my 2020 model and when I put it in my dipstick was coated with them is this normal will be getting a transmission service next time I get an oil change about 55k. I'm just curious what you guys think I'm also about to take to a 500 mile trip with it.

Anyone else not have there cloth seats not holding up as well as other seats. I've had cloth seats on other vehicles and they look way better than my car

Okay so I'm just puzzled by these little odd things in the instrument cluster. So I haven't had tpms sensor working in about a month, see change rtm module. So I have a tire pressure fault when I first turn the car on. It only dings at me if I have my seatbelt on? That's not strange I know the strange thing is as I was driving to work my low fuel came on, no ding where as all my other fords it would ding. Also it only dings for the driver side door being open? Nothing else. Like I said all our other fords dinged. Just venting and see if you guys have any thoughts.

Push button start make sure your only going into accessorie mode and not starting the engine. Also make sure your quick I turned mine off right around the third chime. Plenty of videos on YouTube showing the process too. I'll need to do again here shortly as I want another 5 button key.

I was thinking about replacing my cup holder in the front with one that has the ambient lighting in it. I was wondering since it has the key spot if it needs to reprogrammed.

Hey, don't mean to bump an old thread. Also not really worried about it in my 2020 but yes it happened in mine too. Went to give a good cleaning then bam the fuzz was all over the rag guess it was just cheaply made for the last year. I'll probably replace with an aftermarket one with grilles for the speakers.

Hey, fusion forum I was wondering how you guys keep your cloth seats looking so fine. I was wondering if instead of wet rag and soap to the seat if they were like the gm's with snap cushion so you can take them off and wash them. Instead of hog rings that make that a whole lot more difficult. Here's hoping.

3rd times the charm. I dropped the seat belt both grab handles pulled the plastic up a bit and was able to get a better angle at it. Took a scrapper blade to the outside of the module then a sharp edge underneath to finish the job. Replaced the module with the 902 one and everything works. I longer have working tpms system but that can fixed.

Come on has no one done this mod?

Okay so this may have been posted before but I'm going to post about it. So I'm looking into putting the the 902 rtm module in my car so I can have factory remote start on the remote instead only in ford pass. I took the grab handle off in the back and also loosened the trim peace to barely see up in the headliner the only thing that sucks is that it's glued to the headliner. Any thoughts of how to get the glue off?

I've only had this car for 13 months and I tend to remote start when getting out of work. Even after I've let it warm up and take off home I usually still will have a vapor trail. It has not been that cold maybe mid to lower 30s. Which our mkz never did it when it was around this temp. I'm worried, cause it's only got just below 51k miles on it. Just got the oil changed not 50 miles ago is my "fixed" block on the way out.

This is kinda me gripping and asking a question. Has anybody had difficulty filling up at gas stations that have the modern pumps. They seem to hate the capless fuel system that our cars have. When I go to a station that has the plastic button that your supposed to push it. It always clicks off after about 25 cents later. So I either turn the car on and fill up manually by the gauge, or pull the nozzle a couple of inches out. I never had this problem before with our 17 mkz, or before they switched the metel nozzles.

I was wondering if it's at all feasible to add the rear decklead speakers that are in the cars with Sony system.
