I seen a post on I believe Pinterest of a 2nd gen Fusion with a GT500 style aftermarket hood. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find somethin like that without making one custom? Attatched image for reference, Id like to find this hood.

Right. I would think, the factory computer for the 3.5 could be flashed with a tune that sees the 2.7's trans, and then some way for the ECM to talk to the BCM, thats me assuming they are still separate modules. Im not as knowledgeable with modern vehicles as I am older ones such as my 92 ranger and 90 F150 lol. Im also curious how the motor mounts and bell housing line up on the 3.5 compared to the 2.7.

So, Something Ive thought about, is taking a front subframe for a Fusion Sport, swapping in the 3.5l ecoboost with the 2.7l trans, and putting that in to a gen 2 fusion. I like to tinker, so wild ideas lol. I wonder if that would be a possible swap? ive seen LS swapped and Coyote swapped fusions, but with much fabrication needed with custom subframes, and trans tunnel.

I had a 2001 Ford F150. Fell asleep and rolled it. Walked in to the dealership next day with no credit and no down payment and said i need another set of wheels lol. Drove home with my 2017 Fusion.

Im sure an exhaust shop could probably fab one up, if there arent any aftermarket options. If you like your warranty, dont delete the cats entirely, just get a universal high flow cat for like 2.25" or 2.5" exhaust tube. Ive thought about the same sort of mod for my own 2017 Fusion 1.5l.

Hello all! I own a 2017 Ford Fusion SE, has the 1.5l ecoboost. Im kind of a tinkerer, and I commonly think of things that no one else has any documentation of lol. One of those, Im sure someone thought of it, but they havent posted it online ideas lol. I dont currently have any pictures of the car, tho I may post some at a later date.
