  1. Upate. Check engine light come back on. Took my Fusion Energi back to the dealer. Found that circuits in the BECM (Battery Energy Control Module) were bad. BECM controls balancing of charge to the battery pack. DTC codes found were P0DCD (Hybrid Battery Cell Balancing Circuit F Stuck On) and P0DE1 (Hybrid Battery Cell Balancing Circuit Stuck On. The problem was fixed by replacing the BECM. Service told me that the part cost $800. Car was still under the EV warranty and was replaced at no charge. I put the car on charge over night hoping that the repair would fix the problem with my loss of battery range down from 24 mile per charge to 14 miles per charge. Replacing the BECM did not fix the battery range problem.
  2. Continue to have problems with the battery system on my Fusion Energy. After bringing it home from the dealer, drove it for several days and charged the battery each day. On December 3 drove the car and competely discharged the battery. When my wife drove the car later in the day, she called me and told me that the battery charge indicator showed a charge of around 75%, but showed no miles (see photo).
  3. I took my Fusion Energi to the dealer to see if they could findout why the range on the battery fell from 24 miles/charge to just 13 miles/charge. I explained to them that I had two DTC codes show up on my code reader. The two codes found are attached. They perfomed the diagnostic test for $189.00 and reported back to me that they found no codes stored in the system. However, they reset and updated the PCM (power train control module), SOBCM (SECONDARY OBD CONTROL MODULE) and BCM (Body Control Module). This helped and the range on the battery increased from 13 mile/charge to 19 miles/charge. The dealer had no explaination why the battery range dropped. Through my own search I discovered that the battery looses anywhere from 2% to 3% per year.
  4. My 2019 Fusion Energi has 43,000 miles on it. The mileage is beyond the 3yr/36,000 mile powertrain warranty, it is still covered by the Hybrid powertrain warranty of 8yr/100,000 miles
  5. After charging my 2019 Fusion Energi the High Voltage Battery Indicator show 100% charge, but the range only shows 13 miles. Any Idea what the problem may be?
