In the end, I believe the DTR function is messing with the relay and ballast. It pulses a signal to the DTR's and I think it is underloading the signal to the ballast and creating issues. I have never run into this before and have installed 6 of these kits before. Be that as it may, I'm not willing to mess with it. I went out and bought some Sylvania H11 Powersport LED's. They had good reviews and installed easily. They put out a very nice crisp white light and have a sharp cutoff. Not as good as a true HID OEM light, but far superior to the Halogen lights that Ford gave me...

I installed the Morimoto Elite H11 low beam 5k system with the relay harness. When I turn them on, they fire fine - WITH THE CAR OFF. If I start the car, the fire quick and then turn off. Sometimes I can get one side to stay on, but not always. What's going on?

Thanks. I ordered a Morimoto 55w kit with the 5k color, harness, anti-flicker, etc. Will be here middle of next week. Not thrilled about dealing with the bumper coming off. I know how to do it; just a process I was hoping to avoid. Thanks for the counsel! Curt

My 2019 SE's headlights are dangerous at night. Not good. What kits have you all been using? I've used Morimoto in the past. Do you really need to remove the bumper to do this? Thanks!

For those of you looking for the answer, the blue/gray wire is positive. The brown/yellow wire is negative. Tapped into those with prongs, via the back of the connector, in less than 30sec. Works great - on/off with the ignition. This is on a 2019 SE.

Hello, I'm trying to install a dash cam and a radar detector. I don't want to mess with wiring down to the fuse box. I would like to tap into the wires behind the rearview mirror. The photo, below, shows the wires that are available. Which do I tap into in order to have them come on/off with the ignition? Thanks!
