Hello! I have a 2013 Fusion Energi with ~55K miles that's having HV battery issues. Done a bunch of poking around and it seems it has 4 cells that have gone bad (~1.9v), and/or the BECM will not charge or balance them. I've followed troubleshooting tips and reset the codes to get the battery to charge itself enough to go through a balance cycle but it keeps throwing the P0B24 Voltage Unstable code and not charging. (It also throws P0DDD - Balancing Circuit 'M' Stuck On.)
I'm trying to determine the best course of action. The simplest would be to replace the HV battery... looks easy enough to do (though need to be careful not to electrocute myself) and it would also hypothetically give me back full EV range.
Does anyone has any advice, replacement experience, or sources for replacement batteries? I've only been able to find what looks like a fully reconditioned battery at besthybridbatteries-dot-com - but it doesn't say if it has all new cells or not. (They haven't responded to emails; will call next week.) Anyone have experience with them, or know of any other companies that provide reconditioned batteries?
