I have a 2014 fushion SE. recently the speakers (all of them) started making a very loud static noise on occasion and then then audio stops working all together (no sounds from radio, usb, Bluetooth or even dinging when the car door is open/starting ignition. The other day it made a very loud static noise that seemed to stop after about a minute or so, resulting in no audio. Audio hasn’t come on since. However the other day even with radio switched to “off” it still made that static noise for a brief second. It’s is a super loud noise that is startling and can make it hard to drive, I plan on taking the car into my mechanic to hopefully diagnose the issue but I guess my question is, up until then, does anyone have a suggestion as to what I can do to stop that noise if it does come on? Keep in mind the volume was at minimum the whole time the noises came on. I’m getting to the point where I’m scared to drive the car…: does this affect something else in the car? Please help.
