I installed a transmission in my 08 fusion and it drove fine until one day it went into limp mode. It won't go above 30 and the engine revs high when trying to accelerate. I put 2000 miles on it with no issues after paying about $1000 bucks on it and a reman is $2500 but don't want to get a reman transmission if there's a possibility that it's something else that's not deep internal on the transmission. Anyone else ever experience this?

I have an 08 fusion 2.3 auto and it seems like the first shift always is hard then after that it shifts great. I just put the transmission in with 99,000 miles on it. Any ideas

I have a 08 fusion 2.3 fwd with 83000 miles on it with a bad transmission. I'm getting one with 72,000 miles on it. Is there anything I should do besides changing torque converter and axle gaskets to make it better and more dependable?
