Fusion SEL with 144k mi.
The passenger door will occasionally refuse to lock centrally via the key or the electronic lock button inside the car. The locking tab "wants" to catch(there is a little bit of feedback/movement visible) but it stays unlocked. The car will confirm that all the door are locked when you hit the lock button twice on the fob, but you can see the lock tab unlocked and that you can pull the door open (and then be met with an alarm).
The door will lock manually via the lock tab above the interior door pull. Oddly, the central locking will work for about a day or two after locking manually, then returns to being malfunctional again.
Just want to confirm that I will need to purchase either a lock actuator or an interior door handle.
At this point Im assuming it is an actuator but I hope I am wrong!
