  1. Well, looks like there's more to this. He had pressure tests done for compression and coolant. Looks like head is blown between 2 and 3, so we'll be tearing into that, good time to go through all the connections and check for corrosion and will definitely give that fuel pump driver module a look as a blown head still won't cause the fuel pressure to be intermittent. I don't know how well he's maintained this thing but thinking a lot of this is probably neglect. I'll keep the thread updated as we tear more into this but the current plan is to start tear down in beginning of July as he needs time to gather up all the required parts- gaskets, water pump(def change it while we're in there) etc.
  2. Just joined, first post, hoping to find some help. Friend of mine has a '10 Fusion. A while back it started running rough/dying on him but would usually start right back up and run fine for a bit before doing it again. At first we tried a MAF as that's what the code pointed at. It was happy for about a week. Then the car started doing it again, this time throttle body started acting up and had the appropriate codes, replaced, happy for a week. This thing is being crazy. Temp gauge and A/C going out, intermittent fuel pressure, the pump is not running consistently (it was also replaced diagnosing this) still intermittent. This thing has to be electrical. We've gone so far as using jumper cables and going engine to body, battery to body, battery to engine (obv not the positive, ground only) Like WTH is going on. Codes are currently all over the place, cooling, transmission, fuel, MAF, like anything electrical. We're at, it runs fine for 20 minutes at a time. Hoping someone here has ran into this
