  1. I have a 2010 Fusion, same bolt pattern as the Crown Vic, Taurus and Explorers. I have 16” winter steel wheels. I want to buy the center caps from an interceptor. They say they only fit 18” wheels. Has anybody added them to their Fusion?
  2. November 7/23, I changed the oil with full synthetic 5w20 and OEM filter as I always do. this car is excessively maintained. Since the first start up after the OC, this aggressive ticking started and I don’t know what it could be. IMG_6798.MOV
  3. 2010 Ford Fusion SE, with the 17” hub cap wheels. I have researched the width of the factory wheels and it’s 50/50 with online sources stating 7” and others say 7.5”. Does anybody know for sure ? thanks
  4. Incase anyone sees this, as mentioned above, my car details and issue. I changed the FTPS assembly and the charcoal canister and that seemed to turn the CEL off.
  5. Hello. I actually changed my FTPS assembly 2 days ago. It was very hard but got it done. I also changed the charcoal canister and my engine light went off today, yay! part number is AE5Z-9A228-B. I don’t have a picture of all the connections but I’ll attach a picture of the sensor which is part of the assembly. It’s below the car. Towards the back of the car, above the rear sub frame (where the rear axle would be if it had one)
  6. Hey, I see your post was from 6 years ago, but I have the same vehicle with the same codes. The dealership told me either 1) fuel tank pressure sensor 2) charcoal canister. I did what you did and replaced the Canister Vent Valve, nothing. I was going to change the Purge Solenoid but the dealer said that was operating properly. I already have the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor assembly and was going to try and install it. I am pretty good at working on my own cars but this might be just out of my capability. Did you change it yourself or get a mechanic to do it? Thank you !
  7. I have a 2010 Fusion 2.5 with codes P0451 and P1450. I had it diagnosed at a Ford dealer and they said possibly ‘fuel tank pressure sensor’ and ‘vapor canister’. There are ZERO people online who have solved these codes. The canister is easy to change but the FTPS isn’t. And I’m worried they aren’t the problem. I’ve done the capless fuel filler “maintenance” 3 times which hasn’t fixed anything. Has anybody experienced this and have any input ?? Thanks !!
