  1. The issue with my wifes care ended up being the front driver side ABS wheel speed sensor. The part is cheap, and very easy to install. BTW the dealership will charge you 3x what you can get this part for at autozone/amazon/etc.
  2. My wife's 2017 Ford Fusion Titanium Hybrid has been randomly having acceleration cutouts. It feels as if you took your foot off the throttle and then mashed it back down. When this happens the dash sometimes lights up like a Christmas tree but then goes back to normal. ABS and advance track lights come on. Power steering feels like it goes out too and the wheel is hard to move and eventually recovers. Replicating the problem is not easy. It will do it from a dead stop, it will do it when you round a corner and get on the gas, it will do it when getting on a freeway onramp, etc. There does not seam to be any way to consistently replicate the issue. The car has been in and out of my local dealer twice now. The first time they couldn't replicate it, and cleared the codes and told me to bring it back if it did it again (btw, no check engine light). I brought it back and they said the code history shows misfires and wanted to charge me like $400 to replace the sparkplugs, and next the coil packs. I decided to do this work myself since replacing the plugs and coil packs can be done by a well trained monkey in about 30 minutes. Today I ordered a throttle body to see if maybe that's the issue, I've already cleaned the one on the car. One thing I did notice was the throttle blade felt like it had play in it so I'm wondering if the electronic motor that controls the blade is failing randomly. Anyone experience anything like this before?
