Hello.. sorry for NECROing but we solved this issue on our 2010 fusion. First I cleaned the terminals and cables to the battery very well, then inflated the tire, then attached a ~400 dollar code scan tool from an autoparts store innova 5160RS. This solved our problem for now. We scanned and cleared all the codes and the esteering started no problem next crank. ,
