Hi all, I'm driving a 2015 Ford fusion hybrid and I recently moved to the Ozarks. The roads are miles of rocky dirt hell and I need new tires. My employer tells me I need 10 ply tires and told me to go to a local shop and have light truck/trailer tires put on but I called a few actual tire shops and they said the best I can get for my 225s is 4 ply all terrain tires. Has anyone ever used trailer or truck tires of higher ply on a hybrid? I'm worried that's a bad idea.
