    Thanks for the reply If it make no difference other than the "look" of the L where the "S" should be I'll probably leave it for now. ( Life has been a wee bit hectic of late ) I'm assuming that this selector probably belongs in Trucks / SUV's but if it has a lower fail rate it may super-cede the original part?? Again, thanks for the reply ??

    Okay... my first Ford as a lifelong Dodge / Plymouth / Jeep owner 2017 Fusion gear selector wheel got stuck in Park Happened once before and the "key bypass" trick solved it No such luck this time Towed to Dealership +$700 later it's back New selector wheel has L (low) where the old one had S (sport) heads up display still shows "S" when selected... im ASSUMING in makes ZERO difference to the repair / performance ?? I figure the transmission can only "perform" within its own scope... But I defer to this forum What say you all ???
