Hey thanks for the response. It’s my daily driver and I’m in at least my second of not third battery since it’s started. There’s been no changes to the electronics (new speakers, amps, etc) in over a decade. Thought to just replace the thermostat control unit for trial and error until I saw how much they cost.

2007 fusion sel 4 cylinder w/ 281k miles. 90% of the time when I start my car, the thermostat/climate controls are turned off instead of being at the settings I used last. I’ve googled this issue a dozen times and it’s always pages of other issues with thermostats. Everything works fine when I turn it on. My car just doesn’t “remember” and has it off upon start up. Recently replaced the blower motor and resistor for other reasons. Issue still there
