Turned out to be the motor. Went with a buddy to a scrap yard and snagged one. Initialized it and all good.

I can try that when it'll open back up. Ima try and look up a wire diagram for the switch and do some testing

Hey everyone I have a 2012 fusion sel and lately the sunroof hasn't been working unless it's cold outside like around 40 degrees. If its cold out it'll work flawlessly if it's warm outside it won't do anything. I changed out the switch same thing happens. I'm pretty sure the motor is the issue but open to any ideas.
