  1. I’m in the process of repairing some moderate collision damage on a 2011 Ford Fusion. It took a significant hit on the front left corner. I’ve made some wiring repairs and gotten almost all the DTCs to clear, but now I’m stuck with a C1155 code which indicates a problem with the front left wheel speed sensor circuit. The oscilloscope feature in Forscan showed a perfectly normal output from the LF WSS in the 4X4 module but no output in the ABS module. Using a multimeter between the sensor and the ABS module, I found that the “CTRL MOD - SENSOR WHEEL SPEED LEFT FRONT” wire was broken. I spliced it back together and confirmed continuity. This didn’t fix the code and there’s still no output from this sensor in the ABS module. I swapped the front wheel speed sensors and it was exactly the same condition - no output on the left and normal output on the right in the ABS module. It seems like the sensor works fine, but the ABS module won’t read it. I’m not sure how the 4X4 module can get the signal if the ABS module can’t. The 4X4M can also get the signal somehow even when one sensor wire is disconnected. I believe the signal is passed through the ABS module and sent to the 4X4M over CANBUS. How is this possible? It seems like the next step might be to replace the ABS module but I decided I should check here first. Update: Changed ABS module and it didn’t make any difference.
