225,00 kms on the car, I have replaced my outer and inner tie rods, both struts, both sway bar links, on my FWD 4 cyl 09 fusion. Still get a rattle in the front when going over cracks in the road. I had the car to a mechanic and had all the suspension checked out. Did an alignment. Said the noise is coming from the hydraulic rack & pinion.
a few questions.
1. Should I buy a reman unit or used if I decide to go ahead with the repair?
2. Has anyone done this swap out? How hard is it to replace the hydraulic rack and pinion steering unit on FWD 4 cyl. ?
