  1. Mine just broke too 2010 Fusion. I called the dealer to make sure they had the parts and they said yes..Took the car in next day, waited four hours and they called and said they have to order the parts. I have to go back next week.
  2. I have Atlantis Green and I have to convince everyone its not black!..but I still love the color.
  3. I live in the Cleveland Ohio area and lately we've gotten alot of snow. So the the other day I'm driving on the highway and my Fusion seems like it has a flat front tire. The front left of the car was shaking very bad to the the point I thought I may have damaged the car by hitting a pot hole or something. So I take it to the dealer and the service guy says that I'm like the 10th person to have this problem that day, They take my car to the wash bay and spray all the snow out of the front wheel wells and its fixed! The car is good as new!..boy did I feel like an ass. Anyone have this happen?
  4. When should I get my first Oil Change? My 2010 6 month old Fusion I4 has about 6200 miles on it. The owners manuel says for normal driving condtions the first one should be 7500 miles. Should I do it now? or wait until 7500 miles?
  5. Ford reports a nearly $1 billion profit The only U.S. automaker to avoid bankruptcy posts an unexpected profit thanks to a big lift from Cash for Clunkers sales. These are the most popular cars purchased under the Cash for Clunkers program. View photos NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Ford Motor reported a surprise profit for the third quarter Monday, helped by a bump in sales from the Cash for Clunkers program, a reduced cost structure and problems at its U.S. rivals. The company also announced plans late Monday to raise $3 billion in order to further boost its balance sheet. The only major U.S. automaker not to file for bankruptcy this year earned $997 million, or 29 cents a share, compared to a loss of $161 million, or 7 cents a share on that basis a year earlier. Excluding special items, Ford reported a profit of $873 million, or 26 cents a share, in the period. Analysts had been forecasting a loss of 12 cents a share for the quarter on this basis. Ford said it was the first pre-tax operating profit since the start of 2008. In a separate announcement, Ford said it will issue $1 billion in common stock and $2 billion of debt that will be convertible to common shares. The company said it will start issuing them beginning next month. The automaker also said it hopes to extend the maturity of its revolving credit facility by two years to 2013. "We expect the moves will enhance Ford's automotive liquidity and over time reduce the company's debt burden, providing an additional cushion given the still uncertain state of the economy," said Ford President and CEO Alan Mulally in a statement. The company said cost cutting during the past year and an improved outlook for sales leads it to believe Ford will be "solidly profitable" in 2011, excluding special items. That's the most bullish outlook Ford has offered investors since it started losing money in 2005. The company had previously said it was looking for break-even or better results that year.

  10. Recalled: #1 Car Bought During Cash For Clunker Program Recalled! Posted: Aug 27, 2009 10:30 AM EDT Updated: Aug 27, 2009 10:30 AM EDT CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The honeymoon is over, your brand new Toyota Corrolla that you just bought through the Cash for Clunker Program may be recalled. Toyota, the #1 car bought during Cash for Clunkers program, announced Wednesday that they are launching a voluntary Safety Recall with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) involving approximately 95,700 Toyota and Scion vehicles sold in the United States because a possible brake malfunction. On certain 2009 and 2010 model year Toyota Corolla, Corolla Matrix, and 2008 and 2009 Scion xD vehicles all equipped with 1.8 liter engines, Toyota has determined that if the vehicle is operated in extremely low ambient temperatures, there is a possibility that condensed moisture from the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) port may seep into the brake system vacuum port and freeze. Should this condition continue, ice may slowly accumulate at the brake system vacuum port and in the extreme case, ultimately plug the vacuum port. As a result of the accumulation of ice, power assist to the brakes would gradually decrease and lead to lengthened vehicle stopping distances. Since this condition only manifests in extremely low ambient temperatures, vehicle owners from 19 affected states will begin receiving a Safety Recall Notification via first class mail in early September, 2009. Those states are: Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Toyota dealers will install a newly designed intake air connector which relocates the brake system vacuum port. The repair will take approximately one hour, depending on the dealers work schedule, at no charge to the vehicle owner. No other Lexus, Toyota, or Scion vehicles are involved.
