  1. Good answer! Still, I'd like to see it if someone actually did it! But I tend to agree with you...
  2. I'm going to have to test drive all three, the Fusion, Escape and Taurus too. I was leaning towards the Fusion because I could get the Sport fully loaded, something I can't do with the Taurus. I'd have to forgo the NAVIGATION Screen. I just can't fork out any more $. As it is I am contribution to a Company Car BUT it is a Co. Car I will end up owning at little addl. cost. I just LIKED the idea of a fully loaded Fusion with the NAV although it's crazy to pay $1700-1800 for Nav when you can buy a Garmin for $300 now adays. The Traffic and Weather features were nice but certanly "bells and whistles". Same with the Escape, I wouldn't be getting the NAV in that either for similar reasons. Just an XLT V6-4WD loaded w/ leather and ammenities, minus the touch screen. By the way, I myself am mid 50s, about 250 lbs but am ready for a little more comfort then the ol' 07 Escape offered. And oh yea, most Car reviews consider the escape a CAR and not a Truck, except this Car can tow 3500 Lbs which I do on occasion, all 3500 pounds of it. Lets see another car do that!
  3. That's not good. I was going to consider the Taurus but dollar for dollar I could get a fully loaded Fusion Sport for the price of a basic Taurus. OR I could just get a new 2010 Escape loaded up too. At least with the Escape, I know what I am getting myself into. I was hoping for a bit more comfort on this next vehicle and might find the taurus to be too "mushy" if you know what I mean. I'd really love to have the built in NAV but that won't be $ possible on the Taurus. Still, I guess I'll have to look at one. I know the Taurus will be a good car but so would another Escape which has been improved since my 2007 came out. Sounds like I may be disappointed with a Fusion for long commutes... Thanks for your thoughts.
  4. - This bold graphic stripe treatment is one of many custom accessories available through Ford dealers. PLEASE POST PICS If you've done this addition.
  5. I've never seen anything assembled in Mexico in the same sentence with the word QUALITY. Yet, I hear that the Fusion is a well made car. I don't own one yet but am close to buying within a few months. How is Ford pulling off such a feat when nothing else I am aware of comes out of Mexico with any quality at all???
  6. I didn't realize that the Black was also Metallic too. Any way to see some better photos showing that? I'm also leaning towards buying Black.
  7. Hi, I'm new to this forum but joined because I am seriously considering a 2010 loaded Fusion Sport as my next Company Car. The question I have is about long distance driving and comfort levels. I am coming out of a late model (2007) Ford Escape V6-4WD and I often drive 200-400 mile days. The Escape is OK for 200 miles but after a 400 mile day you are tired, fatigued and my lower back hurts some (lumbar adjustment is absent.) Do any of you do long commutes with your Fusion and how do you rate the comfort level? I'm sure the Fusion will be quieter then the old Escape is and will handle better too. I just would like to hear from others who put long mile days on their Fusion as well. I'm leaning towards a fully equipped (Nav and electronics) Sport Fusion FWD. Thanks for any input! Oh yea, leaning towards BLACK but second guessing that may be too hot. (Live in NJ)
